Historical Collections Department Digitized holdings
Heidelberg University Library began digitizing the first manuscripts from its important collections back in 2001. All manuscripts from the Bibliotheca Palatina and the Salem and Petershausen monastery libraries are now available online and freely accessible. A large part of the document collections has also been digitized. The Codices Heidelbergenses Orientales, manuscripts from the Trübner Collection and from the Heidelberg Manuscript Collection (Heid. Hs.) as well as incunabula and old prints are gradually being digitized as required.
