Special collections

The Special Collections Department manages the valuable holdings of Heidelberg University Library. These include manuscripts, deeds, personal writings, incunabula (prints up to 1500), old prints up to 1750 and valuable prints from later periods, the Graphics Collection and other special collections.

The holdings may only be used in the manuscript reading room (LSH) and may not be borrowed outside the library.
