Ventilation system in the reading room of the main library (Triplex)

The room in the reading room of the main library in the old town is supplied with fresh air via a ventilation system. The air flow rate is 57 cbm/h.

This system is not an air conditioning system, but an air exchange system with the option of cooling. As this cooling is automated and depends on the outside temperature, please note that the desired temperature setting may be delayed, if the outside temperature fluctuates significantly.

Due to the various dependencies, changes to the setting are carried out by a specialist company. Library staff cannot change the setting themselves and cannot open windows that have to remain closed due to the ventilation system. Please forward any information about the temperatures by email or by green letter.
