Retrodigitisation of Art and Classical Studies Literature for the Getty Research Portal

In 2015 the Getty Research Institute and Heidelberg University Library launched a collaborative project to retrodigitise primarily art and classical studies literature. Since then around 200 volumes from Heidelberg’s collection have been digitised per year and made available on Heidelberg’s servers in open access. Titles are selected by the Getty Research Institute in consultation with Heidelberg University Library and integrated into the Getty Research Portal. A number of titles are also contributed to the Digital Cicognara Library.
