Next Tuesday, September 20, 17:00h - 17:45h we cordially invite you to the seminar of Markus Demleitner from the Astronisches Recheninstitut. He will give a condensed overview of the technologies behind the Virtual Observatory, an international network of data centres. The primary focus will be on how interoperability standards enable a truly global infrastructure for publishing, finding, retrieving, and processing astronomical data, jointly shaped by data providers, software authors, and science users.
