Im Zuge der Sanierungsmaßnahmen wird im Haupttreppenhaus im Südflügel des Altbaus ab Montag, den 21.06., ein großes Gerüst aufgebaut, das insbesondere die Arbeiten am Glasdach ermöglicht.
Die Gerüststellung ist kompliziert und wird voraussichtlich 1 ½ Monate, von 21.6. bis Anfang August, dauern. In diesem Zeitraum wird es zeitweise zu Lärmbelästigungen und Sperrungen der Treppenaufgänge sowie der Haupteingangstüren von IZA und MMZ kommen. Es ist geplant, dass jeweils bis auf kurze Unterbrechungen alternative Wegeführungen angeboten werden.
Nach Abschluss der Gerüststellung werden weiterhin alle öffentlichen Funktionsbereiche der Universitätsbibliothek zugänglich sein.

As part of the renovation work, a large scaffolding will be set up in the main staircase in the south wing of the old building from Monday, June 21st.
The construction of the scaffolding will probably take 1 ½ months until the beginning of August. During this period, the stairways and the main entrance doors of the Information Centre (IZA) and the Multimedia Centre (MMZ) will be occasionally closed. It is planned that apart from brief interruptions alternative routes will be offered.
After completion of the scaffolding, all public areas of the university library will continue to be accessible.
