The department "Historische Sammlungen" holds the precious collections of Heidelberg University Library. Among these collections are manuscripts, deeds, literary remains, incunabula (prints up to 1500), early prints up to 1700 and rare books, the Graphic Collection and other special collections.

The collections can be consulted, advance reservation required.
