Sztuka Kresów Wschodnich – digitized
Initiated in 1994, Sztuka Kresów Wschodnich (The Art of the Eastern Borderlands) is a publication series devoted to art on the Eastern Borderlands of the old Polish Republic. It has been published by the Art History Institute of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, in collaboration with the Jagiellonian University’s Art History Students’ Debating Society.
The first three volumes published proceedings from conferences organised by the Krakow scholars, and since the fourth volume, the series has collected papers mainly by scholars from the two centres of Poland’s art historical research, namely Krakow and Warsaw. Among the contributions published in the series there have been short articles as well as larger syntheses and archival source materials.
All articles contained in this magazine are indexed in the local online catalogue HEIDI and therefore also can be searched in the SWB and in arthistoricum.net.
