Le fils du Père Duchêne: illustré – digitized
Le fils du Père Duchêne was published during the era of the Paris Commune from 20th April until 23th May 1871. Following the French Republican Calendar the date was noted as “1er Floréal an 79 until 4 Prairial”. The ten issues of the periodical illustrate important events of the Paris Commune, notably the fall of the Paris Commune which is depicted in the last issue published during the "Semaine sanglante" (The Bloody Week).
