Edition literary cuniform texts from Assur
The focus of this research project is to describe and publish as monographs the corpus of literary texts from Assur, in accordance with the highest philological standards. These make up the monographic series 'Keilschrifttexte aus Assur literarischen Inhalts' (KAL). The aim is to make available literary documents that are highly important in the field of ancient Near Eastern studies. This will offer new insights into the area of knowledge concerning a cultural environment that has developed an enormous political and cultural dynamic over thousands of years.

Melanchthon-Briefwechsel
The bibliography "MelLit" offers access to the research contributions about Philipp Melanchthon (1497–1560), published since 1991, and replaces existing bibliographic works covering the life, work and influence of the humanist and reformer. As well as monographs and anthologies, articles and other shorter works are listed. The bibliography will be continually updated.

Cooperation between UB Heidelberg and Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (HAdW)
The UB Heidelberg and the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (HAdW) work closely together in the area of the digital humanities. This cooperation is used by the Academy of the Sciences in the area of digital editing and publishing, by applying the highly effective technical infrastructure and extensive experience of the UB with building and operating digital platforms as well as the long-term archiving of digital material. The research results will be made available word-wide via networking and linking, with specialized cataloguing ensuring that these results are visible and can be reliably referenced by systems and search engines. The long-term availability of the research results and documents is secured by continually updating the technical infrastructure.
